Problem Dogs

The behaviour of problem dogs can get so severe that many unfortunately either end up being re-homed or euthanized, as they are simply impossible to have around the home. Our aim is to assist dogs and their owners with such problems so they can obtain a more harmonious relationship, and to prevent dogs going back into the system, time and time again.

Behaviour Problems

Sometimes dogs form certain types of unacceptable behaviour, such as:

• incessant barking or howling
• chewing inappropriate articles (clothing, furniture, car, etc.)
• digging holes
• escape artists
• nipping and biting

• inappropriate fear and phobias (e.g. other dogs, people, specific innate objects)
• inappropriate aggression
• growling at their owners
• eating disorders
• neurotic behaviour

In most cases, with correct guidance and the dedication of the owner, these can be corrected. Our aim is to assist you in finding solutions to your dog's behaviour problems and forming that loving, long lasting bond with your dog!

You are of course also invited to make an appointment for us to meet and work on an intervention strategy. The majority of problems can be solved in a relatively short period. It's well worth giving it a try.
